【初音ミク Hatsune Miku】SinkStar English translation + romaji lyrics

This is a super chill and relaxing song to listen to and I wanted to translate it. I love the lyrics! (they're about staaaarsssss *-*)

mukashi kara kono machi ga suki
nemurenai yoru sanpomichi he
kawa no nagare mimi wo sumaseru
yuruyaka na kuuki boku wo iyasu

I've loved this town since long ago
on a sleepless night, going on a walk
I can hear the river's currents
the gentle atmosphere heals me

fui ni mieta no haruka na hoshikage
ichiban takai oka he ittemiyou

I suddenly saw distant starlight
let's try to go to the tallest hill

hoshi ippai no sora he, te wo nobashita
uchuu no hate wa aru?
sono toki no boku mo shiranai sa

I reached out my hand towards the sky full of stars
is there an end to the universe?
at that time, even I myself don't know

hoshi wo sagashiteiru boku
boku no kokoro wa sabishikunai

I'm searching for the stars
and my heart isn't lonely

hoshi no mienai machi
boku dake ga zutto hoshi wo wasurenai
boku wa hoshi ga miemasu

in a town where stars cannot be seen,
I will never forget the stars
because they can be seen by me

Home "Towards the Sun" by Rihanna

I JUST SAW THIS MOVIE TODAY and I cried maybe once or twice oops. (the scene during which this song played was one of those times) I read the book and loved it, and while the movie wasn't exactly like the book it was still amazing. Go see it!!

Turn your face towards the sun
Let the shadows fall behind you
Don't look back, just carry on
And the shadows will never find you
[x2]

[x2]

Lost in the rock and roll, got lost in the promise of a love I've never known
Shadows chase me far from home
I remember when my heart was filled with gold

And you know, I've been burned, I've been burned, I've been burned
You see me lose control
It's not worth, it's not worth, it's not worth my soul

Turn your face towards the sun
Let the shadows fall behind you
Don't look back, just carry on
And the shadows will never find you

Lost my faith and trust
You and I know gold don't turn to rust
I still swear that we can reign like the kings and queens of better yesterday

Don't you know I've been burned, I've been burned, I've been burned?
You see me lose control
It's not worth, it's not worth, it's not worth my soul

Turn your face towards the sun
Let the shadows fall behind you
Don't look back, just carry on
And the shadows will never find you

Where you gonna go, where you gonna go?
Where you gonna run to when you get to the edge of the night?
It's time you faced the sky

Turn your face towards the sun
Let the shadows fall behind you
Don't look back, just carry on
And the shadows will never find you
[x3]

tsumari wa kokoro to kokoro karamiatte kireta
futari wa tokoro dokoro hotsureteru fuku mitai da

in short, (my) heart has become entangled with another heart and broken off
the two of  us have become frayed here and there, just like clothes

kidzuiteru kidzuiteru kidzuiteru futari
kidzuiteru kidzuiteru
kidzuiteru kidzuiteiru no sa
kidzuiteru kidzuiteru

realizing, realzing, the two of us realize
realizing, realizing
realizing, I'm realizing
realizing, realizing

in short, (my) heart has been pulled with another heart, therefore being cut off
next to me, the child that noticed it has stayed silent

kidzuiteru kidzuiteru kidzuiteru futari
kidzuiteru kidzuiteru
kidzuiteru kidzuiteiru no sa
kidzuiteru kidzuiteru

realizing, realzing, the two of us realize
realizing, realizing
realizing, I'm realizing
realizing, realizing

omote sandou no nijuurokuji ga sugiteku

why is it that we've begun to talk in the dull, boring night?
it doesn't make any sense, this name written with my left hand
I smile bitterly, sweat in my tightly balled-up hand
on Omotesando road*, the 26th hour passes by

tsumari wa kokoro to kokoro no sukima ni kaze ga fuita
futari wa tokoro dokoro sore wo yubi de fusaida

in short, a wind blew through the crevice between the two hearts
the two of us closed it up here and there with our fingers

kidzuiteru kidzuiteru kidzuiteru futari
kidzuiteru kidzuiteru
kidzuiteru kidzuiteiru no sa
kidzuiteru kidzuiteru

realizing, realzing, the two of us realize
realizing, realizing
realizing, I'm realizing
realizing, realizing

tsumaranai yoru no hanashi hajimeta no wa naze
gurasu de nureta teeburu wo yubi de fuita
nigawarai shite nigirishimeta te ni wa ase
omote sandou no nijuurokuji ga sugiteku

why is it that we've begun to talk in the dull, boring night?
a table wet with glass, I wiped it dry with my fingers
I smile bitterly, sweat in my tightly balled-up hand
on the surface of a road to the shrine, the 26th hour passes by

(repeat 1st chorus)

* Omotesandou literally means "the face of a road approaching a shrine" and I stupidly translated it literally as that without realizing it's actually an avenue in Tokyo. So it may mean either or! (Probably the latter though)
